Eliminating single-use plastic and synthetic barrier coatings by engineering high-performance, seaweed-derived, and home-compostable packaging materials that protect global commerce without compromising the planet.

From ocean depths to plastic-free commerce

How a former tech professional turned an ocean-native resource into a revolutionary barrier packaging movement.

01

The hidden crisis in our food

It started with a sobering realization about modern packaging: nearly all paper food containers and takeaway boxes rely on invisible plastic linings and toxic chemical treatments that leach into meals and refuse to break down in nature.

02

Engineering with the ocean

Instead of accepting single-use plastic pollution as inevitable, the team looked to the sea. Partnering with coastal seaweed farmers and advanced material science laboratories, they engineered high-performance natural polymers capable of replacing fossil-based plastic liners entirely.

03

The new standard for earth

Today, that vision has evolved into a global movement. Zerocircle's seaweed-derived, home-compostable barrier coatings and packaging materials allow businesses to meet tightening international regulations without compromising performance and safely returning back to natural earth and ocean cycles.
